Mr. Vikas Gupta is an accomplished business leader with over decades of experience in driving strategic transformation across India’s power and urban mobility sectors. As Managing Director of Sai Wardha Power Generation, he led the successful turnaround of a stressed thermal power
plant—delivering record-breaking performance, securing competitive financing, and significantly improving operational efficiency and financial stability.
In his role as CEO of Sai Green Mobility, he leads large-scale sustainable transit initiatives that redefine urban transportation in India. Under his leadership, the company is implementing the world’s
first last-mile automated rapid transit system in Mumbai’s central business district, enhancing commuter flow, reducing congestion, and
contributing to national climate goals. He is also spearheading forward-looking projects, including cable car networks and the repowering of diesel buses with electric powertrains to accelerate low-emission transit solutions. With deep expertise in corporate strategy, M&A, fundraising, and
